The room that lets you measure and refuses to let you automate

Almost everything written about poker AI is written about club apps, where the rules are hostile and the workarounds are the point. PokerKing inverts that, and it is worth understanding why before you spend a cent on anything, including this.

Two policies, pulling in opposite directions

The first policy is generous. Trackers are permitted, with direct HUD output onto your table. On most club apps that is a bannable offence; here it is simply allowed. The room does not mind you knowing exactly how often you fold your big blind, how your win rate splits by position, or which of the regulars is spewing on turns. It is comfortable with you measuring.

The second policy is not generous at all. Since 2019 the network has run an anti-bot programme with teeth: accounts identified as bots are closed, the balances are seized, and the money is redistributed to the players those accounts beat. Read that mechanism again, because it is unusual. Most operators that catch a bot simply confiscate and move on. A network that pays compensation to victims has created a permanent, self-reinforcing reason to keep hunting — every bot it catches funds its own reputation for catching bots.

Put the two together and the room's position is coherent and, frankly, reasonable: measure all you like, decide for yourself. That is the line, and it is drawn in a sensible place.

What that means for a page called "Bot AI"

It means the honest version of this product is the study tool and nothing else. Not because we are squeamish, but because the alternative is a bad trade on the arithmetic. You would be running software that plays hands, on a network that actively looks for exactly that, that has been looking for years, and that pays your money to the people you took it from when it finds you. There is no configuration of that bet that is good.

So: this thing opens after you close the client. It has no view of a live table and no ability to act in one. Everything below is what you can do with hands that are already dead.

The gap your tracker leaves

If you are already running a tracker — and on this room you should be — you have solved half the problem. You know your numbers. You know you fold 68% to three-bets from the cutoff, that your turn aggression collapses on paired boards, that your win rate from the small blind is a slow bleed.

What a tracker cannot tell you is whether any of that is wrong. It is a mirror, not a coach. 68% might be exactly right at that stack depth against that opponent, or it might be the single most expensive habit in your game, and nothing in your HUD distinguishes those two cases. The solved baseline is what closes that loop: your number, next to the correct number, for the exact spot you played. That is the whole reason to have both.

Why the ordering matters more than the analysis

Everyone agrees you should review your hands. Almost nobody does it usefully, because memory picks the wrong ones. You will replay the cooler for a week. You will replay the bluff that got snapped off. You will never spontaneously replay the fold you made from the big blind against a 2.2x open, which felt like nothing, which you made forty times last month, and which is where the money actually went.

Grading every decision and sorting by cost fixes that, not because a machine understands poker better than you do, but because it has no ego to protect and no memory of which hand hurt. It puts the boring, repeated, expensive mistake at the top of the list where you have to look at it.

Nine-handed is not six-handed with more folding

PokerKing is one of the few rooms where Full Ring still runs properly, and this deserves more attention than it gets. Almost all modern study material quietly assumes six-max. Bring those ranges to a nine-handed table and you are opening far too wide from early position against three more players who all get to act. Blitz cuts the other way: no table reads, no history, and folding costs you nothing but time, so your ranges tighten and your aggression has to come from somewhere else.

If those are your games, study material that does not know the difference is worse than none, because it is confidently wrong.

Where the edge really comes from

The pool. WPN shares tables with rooms that take American players, and a casino and sportsbook keep feeding recreationals into the lobby. The field is softer than a network this size has any right to be, and the peak is overnight and morning GMT because that is when the US is awake. If you can play those hours, that is a bigger edge than any software will ever hand you, and it costs nothing.

Everything else is arithmetic. Rakeback pays every month and compounds quietly. Bonuses release against rake, so the headline is a ceiling rather than a gift. Rake races are free if you were playing that volume anyway and a tax the moment you chase them.

The part software cannot touch

Software does not decide your month. A perfectly executed strategy loses over a weekend, and a badly rolled player at the wrong stake goes broke while making good decisions the whole way down. Review reduces the mistakes you control and does nothing at all about the ones you do not. Anyone selling a guaranteed win rate, a fixed percentage improvement or a risk-free edge is selling something other than what they claim, and the rest of their claims deserve the same suspicion.

The unglamorous version

You finish a session. You close the client. You open this, walk the hands, and it tells you which decision cost the most. You disagree, you look closer, and about half the time it is right and you were wrong. You drill that one spot until the correct line is automatic. Then you do it again tomorrow.
